Chiara Rubaltelli
PhD Student
Chiara Rubaltelli is a PhD student at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB) at Politecnico di Milano. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in 2022, and her Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2024.
Her Master’s thesis focused on the development and deployment of a testbed for a 5G relay-based network, known as Wireless Access and Backhaul (WAB).
She started her PhD in May 2025 and is currently part of the Advanced Network Technologies Laboratory. Her research focuses on mobile radio networks, with a particular emphasis on 5G wireless backhaul architectures, mobile base stations, and high-frequency radio access networks.
