Farbod Shahinfar

PhD Student

Farbod Shahinfar is a Ph.D. student in Information Technology at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, where he is advised by Prof. Gianni Antichi. His research focuses on leveraging eBPF (a kernel programming technology) to enhance the performance of networked applications, such as load balancers and key-value stores. Farbod aims to push the boundaries of in-kernel programming, designing innovative architectures to overcome current systems’ limitations. His work has been published in prestigious venues, including the Proceedings of the ACM on Networking (PACMNET), and he is a recipient of the NEC Student Research Fellowship.
