Marco Cominelli
Assistant Professor of Telecommunications
Marco Cominelli is a Research Assistant Professor (RTDa) at the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria (DEIB) of Politecnico di Milano. His research focuses on next-generation wireless networking systems, including software-defined radio platforms, device-free sensing techniques, and communication protocols for the Internet of Things.
He received his M.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering in 2019 and his Ph.D. in Information Engineering in 2023 from the University of Brescia, Italy. He has also been a visiting student at the University of Edinburgh (UK) and Northeastern University (USA).
In 2023, he was invited to participate in the Windows-on-Science program organized by the Air Force Research Laboratory. His research has received five Best Paper Awards at international conferences. He is a member of IEEE.
